Auchrannie Resort Brodick, Brodick

Our stay at Auchrannie was a mixed bag. The lodges are spacious and well-furnished, making for a comfortable stay, but the service left much to be desired. We loved the luxurious feel of the accommodation, but had several disappointing experiences with the restaurant service and the demeanor of staff. Overall, it was a nice place to relax, but we expected more from a resort of this caliber.

We had a wonderful short break at Auchrannie, soaking up the beautiful autumn weather. Our comfortable ground floor room suited us perfectly, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Dining options were excellent, especially at the Brambles restaurant, which provided a cozy atmosphere with a great selection of food. However, we wished we could have enjoyed the pool and spa, as this was part of our previous positive experiences.

We had high hopes for our stay based on past experiences, but it was a mixed bag this time. The accommodations were visually appealing and spacious, making them enjoyable, but we did encounter some problems with service. The spa facilities were exceptional and made up for many of the shortcomings we faced elsewhere. Unfortunately, the dining experience left much to be desired with rudeness from staff and poor food quality. Overall, there were positives, but certain aspects really detracted from what could have been a fantastic stay.

My stay at the resort spa was truly delightful. The accommodations were comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the superb spa facilities. However, the dining experience fell flat due to some inconsistencies in service, especially in the restaurants. The location is ideal, close to Brodick and surrounded by beautiful scenery, but not ideal if you're looking for a top-notch dining experience.

We had a lovely family getaway at the hotel, where the kids thoroughly enjoyed the play barn and swimming pool. The spa facilities were top notch, ideal for some relaxation. While the food in the bar restaurant didn’t meet our expectations, especially for the price, the breakfast options did redeem the experience somewhat. Overall, we appreciated the spacious rooms but found them a bit crowded with furniture, which made moving around a little tricky.
